Frightening Films Forum

On Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the Madera Community College Center, the NCFA instructors participated in the Frightening Films Forum.  Cynthia Elliott served as moderator for the event, asking the panelists questions regarding their choices for the best horror and suspense films along with questions about the horror and suspense genres in general.

Welcome to the North Centers Film Association Blog

Hey everyone.  Welcome to the blog for the North Centers Film Association (NCFA).  NCFA is an organization of instructors who have taught film studies at the following campuses: Reedley College, Madera Community College Center, and Willow International Community College Center. 

Its purpose is to provide an open forum for these film instructors to discuss issues that exist in film and to bring an awareness and an appreciation for films worthy of discussion in film studies courses.  Our goal is to hold a forum open to faculty, staff, and students in which we discuss these matters at least once a semester.  During these forums, the films instructors will participate, and there may be an adminstrator or a faculty or staff member who may serve as a guest panelist.
